Yep, one guy owns them all!
Our friend Ron Bement built all four in his garage, and when I say built I mean machined all the parts! Ron is an amazing machinist and detail wizard!
Ron recently finished his Riley 4 Port Model A miniature motor, it only took 4 years to build.
We look forward to having him at the 2014 Hot Rod Hill Climb showing off these mini-marvels!
Yes.. they all run!
Lindsey Fisher of Rod Authority wrote a really nice article on our friend Jessica MacKichan. Jess and her father John came to the Hot Rod Hill Climb last year with the Speedway Motors sponsored Hot Rod First-Aid tent, providing supplies like oil, shop rags, carb jets, etc for the participating Hot Rods.

Blast-Tech, Inc. is a paint and rust removal company that specializes in automotive paint and rust removal.
Their process uses the latest technology in plastic media blasting to remove paint and primer along with soda blasting for the more exotic aluminum-bodied cars and parts.
For rust removal we use a fine blended sand mixture, designed to be more automotive sheet-metal friendly, and not the regular coarse sand normally used by sandblasters.
Call Gary TODAY and turn that rust bucket into fresh metal!

Brothers Jim and Kent are bringing the recreation of their dads 1934 Hill Climb Car. The original car was raced at Lands End Hill Climb, south of Grand Junction, Colorado, in 1941 by their 26 year old dad. He competed against Louis Unser finishing 7th overall. The 1941 course had 212 turns over 14.5 miles, a 5,000 foot elevation gain to 10,300 feet. The race was AAA Sanctioned and had over 12,500 spectators.
The replica was hand built in 1982 by the original driver, Bob Baughman at 67 years old!
The car has a 1946 Mercury flathead backed by a 39 3 speed trans and a 4.11 ratio 1934 banjo out back.
We are thrilled they are coming to celebrate the 60th Anniversary with us!
